Exclamation Rt/Mo -=Guardian of Dwayna=- (ver 1.0)

okay me and a friend of mine sat down during school, being bored, and i really wanted to come up with a good prot ritualist build that focuses on communing and prot. we made the build so basicly u can start playing it at any stage of the game, iw ould alo like suggestions to the build.

this build is focused on blocking or evading attacks and also dmg reduction...

Skills:

(1) Protective Spirit
(2) Weapon of Quickening [elite]
(3) Guardian
(4) Shielding Hands
(5) Union
(6) Displacement
(7) Aegis
(8) Essence Bond

Attributes:
Protection Prayer: 12
Communing: 16

Weapons:
the refuge or any prot monk staff that can give u recharge and 20% enchants, ritualist communing weapons work too.

ummm... me and my friend saw a problem with the build, we noticed our build has no energy mangement, we decided to trow in essence bond and not boon of creation because of the small number of spirits. we are also trying to find a way to incorporate shelter, but i cannot seem to be able o find a way. shelter would not be good because i am not using ritual lord, so the spirits wont recharge as fast.
any suggestions will be awesome

PS: sorry, but i have not included a rez, so if u can consider this that would be nice, id rather use flesh of my flesh rather than hard rez

switch out displacement for shelter, prob better because displacement dies real quick for a couple seconds of evade, or switch prot spirit for shelter, they have the same effect not really worth having 2 is their?

Later on you could switch your elite to Ritual Lord but only if u can spare points into spawning to make it worth it

It would prob be worth investing some points into spawning if you have any left over so the spirits live longer

Not up on my monk skills and cant be bothered to wiki the rest but shielding hands sounds just like union again a double skill, spirits would prob be better if u can use ritual lord because they affect everyone.. if i remember ill take a look at the rest of the skills lata

thats my point to double, when u double skills, aka aegis + displacement, u have higher chance of blocking/evading, this way also the spirit lives longer because of aegis, and u can also recast aegis while waiting for displacement to recast. for prot spirit and shelter, i guess the same, u can stack them so they get even less dmg this way, and union and shielding hands furthers down dmg. ud ont have to use all of this at once, u can go in stages. for example if facing mostly meleee, then u will go aegis, guardian and displacement.

okay here a new idea...
1. weapon of quickening
2. prot spirit
3. shelter
4. shielding hands
5. union
6. aegis
7. displacement
8. boon of creation

spam weapon of quickening for the 27% recharge of skills and binding rituals, if u wield a weapon like the refuge, then if lucky u can get halve the recharge time. u will spam one set of spirit and skill. ex: union and shielding hands, put union up, and shielding hands on that ally that tanks. if tons of foes are attacking, aegis and displacement. aegis will be able to block attacks so displacement does not die as fast. and shelter and prot spirit will give make sure u do not get more than 10% max dmg, shelter will just reasure all allies, prot spirit will acompany the attacker

Isn't Aegis an Enchantment? And if it is, it won't work on Displacement because enchantments do not affect spirits. Also, since you are not using the primary Rt attribute, why not go Mo/Rt and invest some points in Divine Favor to get some extra healing? As pointed in other great threads on this forum, if you are not using your spirits to heal (e.g. through Spirit Transfer) then going Mo/Rt will be much more efficient.
